Attendees (mostly UA grads and students) got to network with each other and representatives from local businesses. Our three panelists spoke about their experiences in the workforce and about what skills are needed in today's work environment. All businesses and each panelist had a connection in some way to The University of Alabama. A big thank you to Janet Myles, Karen Wiesner, and Jenni Grandstaff for serving on our career panel, and to our 3 employers, The Cornerstone Home Group, GoHypersonic, and Duke Energy.

We owe a big thank you to Cynthia and Tim Gevedon for hosting this event at the clubhouse at Heritage at Miami Bluffs in Maineville. Thank you to Eddie Bogdanowicz and Tyler Fowler for working so hard to make this event happen. In today's volatile work environment, these types of networking events are significant. Thank you to Andi and Scott Mapes for helping with setup and cleanup along with Lou Mays, past president and Rebecca Dunehew, treasurer.

CrimsonAti hopes to host these types of professional networking events in the future. Employers are interested in hiring legends from The University of Alabama!
